Lowell Hansen was diagnosed with Stage 4 carcinoma of the renal pelvis in August, 2016., at the young age of 76. He met his great Oncologist, John Schwerkoske, with MN Oncology. He is a perfect fit for Lowell.....straight forward with a great sense of humor! He started chemotherapy treatment in the beginning of September, for a 4 month plan of once a week. Our hope is that at the end of the 4th month treatment plan, that he would be a candidate for surgery to remove the right kidney and surrounding lymph nodes.
