For Trudy's Beloved Village:  We have created this page to help all who love Trudy, Jill, and Jordan get the updates they need as soon as possible.   As many of you know, Trudy, Jill, and Jordan all contracted COVID-19. Trudy's positive test came in on 1.14 and was quickly followed by Jill and Jordan.  Jordan had very few symptoms and bounced back quickly.  Jill has had more of a struggle.  Jill received an outpatient infusion of antibodies on 1.20 which is helping considerably, although Jill is still very fatigued and being closely monitored.  Trudy, on the other hand, is still very very sick.  She has COVID pneumonia which is complicated by her COPD and other health factors.   Trudy was admitted to Northside Hospital on 1.17 and was moved to ICU and placed on a ventilator yesterday, 1..22.  At that time,  her oxygen level was in the low 60's.  Being on a ventilator means she is sedated into an unconscious state so her body can get the oxygen, antibiotics, and nutrition it needs, and most importantly, she can fully rest her lungs for them to heal.   All of your prayers, food, calls, and texts have wrapped Trudy, Jill, and Jordan with the love they each need to endure this.   Jill is wanting each of you to get current updates.  Unfortunately, due to her own recovery and managing Trudy's medical care,  Jill is unable to respond to that outpouring of love as she would like.    She thought a website where regular updates could be posted would help each of you know Trudy's medical status quickly while allowing Jill to better rest and take care of Trudy, Jordan, and herself.  This site is also an opportunity to post any needs they may have and a place where they can go to read messages from you (without texts or calls  interrupting much needed sleep or calls with doctors).   You know Jill and Trudy well, and know they would  absolutely want to respond individually to each and every person multiple times a day if it was humanly possible .  Unfortunately, given the circumstances, this "bridge" is the best way to let you get updates and allow them rest.   This WILL be updated every single day until Trudy is home, laughing, and causing 'good trouble'
