My best friend in life, my whole heart, Sarah Leyrer was killed in a senseless auto crash while sitting in our parked car in Georgetown on Saturday 8/29 afternoon. The car was hit from behind by a Sheriff's deputy traveling at high speed. Our beloved cat Yeller, who was in Sarah's lap, was also killed.
This is an unspeakable and terrible tragedy. I thank you all on her behalf for the love you gave Sarah in life. Sarah was loved by so many people who I know she loved hard in return. I feel confident that Sarah's last conscious moments were filled with loving thoughts, stroking and talking to Yeller, who was most likely purring contently.
