Welcome dear friends and family,
Thank you for contributing your loving kindness and acts of care for my mom, Barbara.
Barbara's surgery will be on Monday December 13th in the late afternoon. She will spend two full days post-surgery in the hospital. Once she's home she will be in the next stage of recovery. There is a lot that is up in the air- at first when the mass was tested it was deemed benign. However the surgeon has told us to be prepared for a different outcome, as they will test the mass again. 
As you all know, my mother has been through this before. It is awfully scary, for her to approach both the surgery and the unknown. 
As much as you can keep my mother in your daily thoughts, obviously feel free to reach out to her in any way and express your love.
I will initiate a meal train here on this website, if you feel moved to contribute, the instructions will be there.
