Bruce Patterson

Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.

In mid October of 2015 Bruce began experiencing intense pain inhis upper right chest.  After several tests doctors finally diagnosed him with stage 4 Adenocarcinoma non-small cell lung cancer. There is no cure for this type of cancer.  He started chemotherapy as soon as he could. Because chemo wasn't helping shrink the tumors and because the medication was making him even more sick, Bruce has decided to stop all chemotherapy treatments.  As a family we are rallying around Bruce and loving on him during his final days/weeks/months/years whatever the Lord blesses us with.  We respect his decision to cease treatment and would ask that anyone reading this do the same.  This decision was made after much thought and discussion.
