Louray McGrale

Dear Friends,

August 2 update:

Hello Family and Friends,

On July 11th, I started a new Chemotherapy and within three weeks, my IGM marker (bone cancer) dropped from 1300 to 300!  Wow and I sure feel better.  Thank you for your continuous prayers and well wishes.  We (Doctor too) feel this is working!  :)

July 4th update:

Dear friends,

Thank you all! I have an update to share. Never being a quitter I have quit the study. My markers were going up fast, side effects difficult. I am going on a new treatment with City of Hope and will continue weekly infusions in Mammoth and Bishop. Thank you all for being my blessings
Love, Louray

June 16, 2017 Update:

Dear Friends and Family,
Thank you for all your kind thoughts,  prayers, and well wishes.  Louray reads every post and is overwhelmed with gratitude.  The name of the study is ABT-199.  It is a 92 day trial that consists of 8 chemo pills a day.  She is 16 days into the study and beginning to experience some of the ill side-effects.  Her spirit is strong most days.  she has labs twice a week to keep a close eye on blood levels.  This study has been approved for Leukemia and in the trials, proved to help Waldenstroms (the bone cancer Louray has) patients.

Louray wants you all to know she loves you and would like to tell you herself, but is not able to at this time.
Thanks again for your understanding, love, constant prayers and warm wishes .
