Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

In late February, Louise started having difficulty focusing and keeping her balance. She had an MRI and was diagnosed with a glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer on the left side of her brain.  She is currently at United Hospital in St. Paul on the Courage Kenny rehabilitation floor undergoing daily rehab primarily for weakness on her right side and some memory issues. We are still working with the doctors to determine the best treatment plan.  The current predicted date for her to go home is Thursday, March 15th .  At home she'll continue rehabilitation with at home visits for awhile, until she's cleared for outpatient services at the Courage Center in Stillwater.  She is doing a great job in rehab, positive and motivated to get home.
