Some of you are having trouble getting updates. Make sure you click on "Journal", above.
Hello Loves, In 2010 I was diagnosed with invasive lobular breast cancer after a needle biopsy of the 3x4x5 cm tumor in my left breast.  I have chosen not to have the standard treatments of chemo, surgery or radiation. I am receiving  palliative care, which has entailed three rounds of anti estrogen medication. These aromatase inhibitors  seemed to slow the progression/growth of the tumor until recently.  The statistics say that without treatment I have about a 50 50 chance of living five years after diagnosis and since I am now more than half way there, and because so many of you asked to be kept posted,  I thought this would be the time to start this site.

So welcome to "MY GREAT ADVENTURE"  - I will try to post daily , not always about my health but sharing what life is like for an old broad (70 next May!) living fully and joyfully with cancer.
