Hi Everyone,

I decided to start this CaringBridge.org site for myself as my old Carepages blog website http://www.carepages.com/carepages/Lorrainew/updates  (http://www.carepages.com/carepages/Lorrainew/updates ) will stop operating December 31, 2017 ( was supposed to be October 31, 2017) and I can no longer post updates after October 31, 2017. This new site will now replace that site if you were a visitor. You would have received an email from me inviting you to this site if you had ever visited my old site.  I can also add pictures to this website, something the old website would not allow me to do.

That being said, the original purpose of the website was so I could document my health journey and share with my family and friends what is going on with me (if one is interested in reading my stuff). It is sometimes difficult to remember who I told what to and to keep everyone up to date. My original health problems started in October 2015 with a lump in my neck and it has gotten a little crazy since then.

I have gotten used to and comfortable with talking about my medical situation. Kind of like talking about the weather. It is similar, as I have good days (sunshine), not so good days (cloudy and cool and uncertain) and some really bad days (dark, stormy, miserable). I have to admit I have had all kinds of 'weather' in my journey thus far... having now faced 3 life threatening diseases- Neck cancer, TTP and Scleroderma.

It is somewhat therapeutic writing this down and having it to reflect on. Not to mention, my memory sucks (menopause not cancer) and not a bad idea to document so I can keep a timeline. I have transferred all of my old posts from the old site to this one, so that I can keep them.

Anyway this is the new site and I will post when I have something to update.
