Hello, I wanted to update my mom's friends and family on what has recently happened to my mom.  As some of you may know, my mom, Lorraine Politte was diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme brain tumor on December 7th.  Two days after Thanksgiving she was reading the news paper and said she couldn't comprehend what she was reading.   She headed to the hospital.  After a CT scan and MRI the tumor was discovered.  The tumor is inoperable, therefore, she will start radiation and the chemo pill on Dec. 26th.  Lorraine has lost a lot of her short term memory,  vision in her right eye, some of her balance (she needs help walking).  But still has the same sense of humor when she forgets something 😉
