Lori Thomas

Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.

For those of you that do not know, Lori Thomas, has recently been diagnosed with ovarian cancer (June 2016). Lori, a life-long resident of Cherokee County, was the primary caregiver of her parents, Earl and Sybil Padgett, for over twenty years of her life as they each faced several health issues. Her father passed away in March of 2006 due to kidney failure, and her mother more recently passed away in August of 2015 from colon cancer. Lori has been working full-time in banking for almost thirty years. Lori is strong in her faith in God and is an active member of Arbor Hill Baptist Church. Lori has a son and daughter-in-law, Cody and Brittney Thomas. Lori has devoted her life to taking care of those around her. During this battle with cancer, let us lift her up in prayer for courage, strength, patience, and healing.
