I have been debating posting this for a few days.  Those of you who really know me will know that this post will be completely out of my comfort zone.  I'm not one to usually post heavy shit on here.  I stick to funny posts, some inspiring posts, and posts with dark humor.  So, here goes.  My cryptic post from Wednesday sparked some questions, both publicly and on PM.  On Monday, I had a minor surgical procedure to remove a big lymph node in my neck (AKA Bertha the node).  Well on Wednesday, I found out that Bertha was malignant.  Hodgkin's lymphoma.  (Insert gasp here).  I met with my oncologist and am scheduled for a PET scan to see if Bertha has any gang members hiding out.  Will keep you posted.  I'm also going to do something else that is out of my comfort zone, I will ask for help when needed.  I have spent most of my adult life in the service of others.  In the United States Air Force and now as a Doctor of Chiropractic.  I will help anyone who needs it, and I have dropped everything to help out a friend in need.  I could use some healing thoughts and prayers as I start on a journey that I never thought I'd be taking.
