My name is Lori Klein and I was diagnosed with last stage  Multiple Myeloma (MM) cancer on February 25, 2016 at 41 years of age.  I am the wife of Curtis Klein; mom to Colton; stepmom to Danielle and Zack; fur mom to Trouble, Zoe and Riley; and horse mom to Smokey and Bobbo.  I have a lot to fight for and I will do everything in my power to make the evil cancer cells wish they hadn't picked this gal to mess with! 

I will use this site to share my personal updates as well as information about the disease, related treatments, and to answer any questions people may have about this journey with Multiple Myeloma.  I have been fortunate to not have been surrounded by friends or family with cancer, but it also means that I don't know much about it.  When I have known someone with cancer, I was intimidated by such a heavy topic and had no idea what to say to make the person feel better or supported.  I even felt like it was such a sacred topic that the details were saved only for the closest of family members and therefore it would be insensitive to ask questions.  There's almost no other word with such heavy meaning as cancer so it makes sense that it's a tough topic to maneuver. I would like to use this opportunity to share my story and the details with anyone who is interested and to let you all know that I want this to be an open topic that people can be comfortable discussing with me.  Thank you for joining me on this journey!
