For some reason my story didn't get saved so I will try again.  A month ago Greg and I were in Florida finalizing wedding plans for my Son, Jack, and Daughter-in-law to be, Felicia's wedding which will be on Amelia Island on May 20th.  Whenever I ate solid food it would make me sick with severe pain underneath my diaphragm.  I was pretty sure I was having gallbladder attacks.  When I got back to AZ I went to the ER where they did a CT scan.  I was expecting to get a surgery date for removal of my gallbladder and that would be it.  Well, the CT scan showed a mass between my stomach and pancreas.  I got in with an incredible GI specialist who performed an endoscopy and biopsy.  Greg and I were both floored when it came back as cancer.  The pathology report showed a rare form of cancer that was attached to my stomach.  The good news is that I caught it early because I was symptomatic.  Once we had the pathology report I knew I was in for the fight of my life.  I then saw an Oncologist who specializes in different stomach cancers and he felt pretty confident that the cancer is contained.  This was the best news we could have hoped for.  There isn't a chemo protocol for this type of cancer so the best chance is surgery.
