Welcome to my caring bridges website.  I am using this to keep all my family and friends up to date on my progress.  For those of you who don't know, on Feb. 8th I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer that has spread to my liver.  I am being seen by a great team at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  Our first visit was on Thursday March 2nd. where we met with the surgeon and the oncologist.  We talked about surgery and treatment options.  We will return on Tuesday March 7th to meet with the Liver surgeon and the colon surgeon again and hopefully leave there with a plan to get something started.  I appreciate everyone's cards, calls and prayers that you are sending my way.  They are all going to help me fight this .  I believe in the power of prayer and I know God has me in the palm of his hand.  Faith, Family and Friends :-)   I will continue to update my journal for those that want to know how things are going.  Again,  thank you all for your love and support I cannot thank you enough.
