After many years of monitoring and scanning and more monitoring it was decided to biopsy some nodules on the upper left lobe of my lung.
The diagnosis was cancer, Stage 3A. When I asked the doctor what that meant, I was told it means it's curable. So that's my outlook as well. I have a great medical team and the very best family and friends to embrace this journey with me. I have chosen not to use words like "fight" or "battle" because this isn't for me. It's a chapter in my life that you have been invited to share with me. We can embrace this together. ❤️
