On Wednesday, May 27th, Lori was taken to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. It was determined that she had suffered an aneurysm (subarachnoid brain hemorrhage). To properly secure her aneurysm, a craniectomy was performed successfully on Friday May 29. Lori is now healing from surgery and receiving the best care in the Neuro- ICU at Emory.
Elizabeth, Larry, and Rebecca Wassong will be updating this page as frequently as they can to post updates and prayer requests. Lori has a long road ahead of her and has a lot of healing to do. She is strong and we are confident that our prayers are being heard.
