Recently my father Cordell Johnson passed away and my mother Lorelei has been diagnosed with B-Cell Lymphoma non-Hotchkins Disease, which affects her white cells and bone marrow, in addition she has a spot in her right lung we need to monitor. In this process mom has also had some other medical issues from the chemo treatments, hospitalization with a .2 white cell count, blood clots in her legs she had to take medication for and heart issues she is currently taking medication for. We have had continuous blood draws and daily monitor of moms vitals. We thought we were gaining on the cancer but some of her symptoms are coming back that she originally had, loss of voice and at times her hearing. Her cancer was diagnosed in her facial and neck areas, it is a blood related cancer so it can't be surgically removed, only treatment is chemo. We had a new PET scan on July 19, 2018 and awaiting the results. I’m raising money to help mom pay for funeral and medical expenses. Much higher costs than my parents unfortunately planned for. It is still unknown the full needs of moms medical services, she previously under went chemo every 3 weeks and with the other issues her costs of medical, RX and personal needs is too much for her financially. Cancer doesn't have a specific person in mind if you knew mom she wasn't a smoker or drinker, not over weight and her eating habits were healthy. She is the last person someone would expect to have these health issues.
