It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer a few weeks ago.  The good news is that it was caught early!!  Lola still has a road of surgery,
radiation, and chemotherapy ahead of her, though, and she will need our love and support as she moves through her treatment!

I'm very hopeful that Lola's family and friends will visit here often, check in on how her treatment is progressing (we will be updating this regularly), and share your love and well wishes with her.
As you already know, having Lola in your life is a blessing!  She never hesitates to help others and is always there when we need her!  I know she will be grateful for your love and support while she is going through her surgery and treatment.

Lola's surgery is scheduled for Friday 12/15.  It is outpatient surgery, so she should be home recovering later that evening.  We will continue to keep you posted as she moves through different phases of her treatment.

Thanks for your love and support of my sweet "baby" sissy!  Cancer sucks!
