Logan Vieira Wright's diagnoses/progression of Arnold Chiari Malformation.

As many of you know Logan sustained a concussion to his head on 4/19/16 while he was playing lacrosse. He was hit on the left side of his head in the temple. He was wearing a helmet but the impact caused Logan to loose his vision momentarily before exiting the field. As the next 30 min past Logan's condition got extremely worse. Loosing his balance in the shower and falling once we arrived home. Then the car ride to the ER was very scary since Logan blacked out 3 times. The vison in his left eye completely gone by the time we arrived at the hospital. He could barely walk into the ER with help, the lights were too much for him to bear while we waited which seemed like forever. He was taken back and Dr. Harwin Lin who is the head of the ER department was assigned to Logan. Praise the Lord! I cannot say enough about the care we recieved that night. Dr. Lin got Logan into the CT scan and quickly came back with the results of no bleeding on his brain. His brain was swollen and showed clear signs of a concussion. He was given pain medication and left to rest for a while. Later the next morning Logan was released and we went home to rest. That afternoon I received a call from the Radiologist on call that an "incidental" was found on Logan's CT scan. Chiari Malformation I was the diagnoses. We continue to PRAISE God that

1. Logan's injury was severe enough to go to the ER.

2. That another Radiologist double checked Logan's CT scan and found the CM.
