Logan Daniel Brown was born on May 14, 2016 to Keith and Sabrina Brown. He has a big sister named Kennedy who is 4. Logan was diagnosed with cancer on September 12, 2018. A mass was found in his testicle. He immediately went in for surgery on September 14, 2018 at the Masonic Childrens' Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The entire testicle was removed successfully and his recovery was very quick. After routine blood tests for the next few months, we were told on December 6, 2018 that he was officially in remission!! However, three weeks later.... his next blood test came back and the cancer cells are multiplying again. The type of cancer is called Germ Cell or Yolk Sac Cancer. It is very rare. There was a 10% chance after surgery that this could come back. He now has to begin 6 rounds of Chemotherapy over the next 6 months. Each round is every 3-4 weeks. He will be in the hospital for a week after each round. So we begin a new battle with this for our sweet little boy.
