Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Let's talk about the elephant in the room. You know, the one sitting on your chest. The one you feel when you simply walk out to the mailbox. The one that you feel moving the your shoulder. Yeah, that one. I had become symptomatic for a heart attack. Over the course of last week my blood pressure was taken at 3 different doctor appointments and found to be very, very high as well as my pulse rate. The last doctor visit on Friday they said go directly to the nearest emergency room. I showed them that I am my Daddy's daughter and told them "I don't want to go to an emergency room." That elephant showed me who was boss. I had Jon take me to BWMC in Glen Burnie Sunday morning. You can say that he was inspired to do so. Blood was taken and they confirmed that I had not yet had a heart attack. On Wednesday a heart cath was performed and they found 2 major arteries were blocked and a third was partially blocked but only because it grew a number of smaller arteries around the blockage.

Wednesday night I was transported to the University of Maryland Hospital for the surgery. It is scheduled for Thursday morning, early. Please pray for Jon and me.
