Elizabeth Foster Liz's Story

First post: Apr 10, 2016 Latest post: May 31, 2016
Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your active help, support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.

Early March I was diagnosed with stage 1B/2A cervical cancer. My treatments will include 8 weeks of chemotherapy, coupled with daily morning radiation treatments. Then, I head to Portland OHSU for internal radiation treatments.  My tumor is too large and speculated so surgery is not an option at the present time.

I had my first chemo treatment and am dealing with the bumpy journey ahead - more fatigue than expected and loss of appetite.  I will need my friends, co-workers and fellow Beavers to help me with rides, food, and fun. I intend to stay strong through this journey and keep working to help people to buy and sell homes. My goal is to have this be just a bump in the road, part of my life, but not my whole life. Together we can get through this.

I will be posting daily in my Planner to ask for specific help,  and I appreciate you commenting to let me know  if you can do that specific task.

Thank you so much for your love and support.
