After many years of coping with Cardio Myopathy,  arrythmias, and congestive heart failure, my Cardiologists have set me on the path for a heart transplant.  After much testing and evaluation, I am listed and waiting for a heart.  I wanted to join Caring Bridge so that old friends and classmates who have no idea that I am sick, and all of my friends, family and clients that already know,  can follow my journey and stay in touch with me.   I was told that it would probably take 8 to 12 months for a heart to become available, and for me to move up the list.  But I was recently told that they had a heart for me, but upon further testing, it was rejected and turned down for transplant.  So, I'm thinking that this may happen sooner rather than later.  But who knows?  For now, we wait.
