Hello dear friends and family. Let me first say how grateful and humbled I am by your outpouring of prayers, love and concern.   I intend to post details of my medical diagnosys, prognosys, as these things are being revealed. More importantly I want share a testimony of God's great love. He knew before the foundation of the earth that I would have this challenge and I feel He's prepared me for such a time as this. 
When I was diagnosed with servical cancer last week I was shocked!  What started out as a self diagnosed urinary tract infection turned into stage 3 cancer with complications in just a few minutes. As I was hearing these words coming from the doctors mouth I was filled a moment of dread and then God spoke: pursue peace.  In a nanosecond I was flooded with every scripture  I ever read on the subject of peace  and I was acutely aware of the presence of my Lord beside me, in front of me, behind me, hemming me in under the protection of His wing. Pursue peace. I got this.
I am now a week and a half into this journey. 2 kidney procedures, cat scans, mri's etc. Still have His perfect peace and redisscovering the Joy of the Lord is my strength.  All is well with my soul.
It is now Saturday October 1.  I am praying for a concluded diagnosis by Monday.  Please pray the cancer hasn't spread past the servics and even if it has praise Him anyway! Let the joy of the Lord be your strength too. Lumi
