Lisa Charbonneau Lisa’s Journey to Healing

First post: Jun 28, 2019
I am a 40 yr old mother to 6 amazing children and I’ve been married for 16 yrs.  I struggle with many health conditions and many of them are autoimmune.  I was diagnosed with celiac disease at the young age of 2.  I also have autoimmune hepatitis and almost had to have a liver transplant in May of 2016.  With medication my liver numbers are stable atm.  I have an autoimmune blood clotting disorder called antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome which caused us to lose our 5th child about halfway through my pregnancy.  I suffer with asthma, mixed Connective tissue disease, vitamin D deficiency, osteopenia, osteoarthritis, seizures, high bp, tachycardia, gastroparesis and my most recent diagnosis was hypogammaglobulinemia in 2018.  I even developed sepsis from this and was hospitalized for 3 months.  I currently get IVIG every 4 weeks to lower my risks of infection.  Right now I’m using a wheelchair as the sepsis put me in a very weakened state.  The gastroparesis is also greatly affecting my life.  I just received my 2nd Botox through endoscopy to help relieve symptoms but the dr said I already have scarring from the first treatment.  They may not do anymore Botox so either g-poem or gastric pacemaker is the next step.  Thank you for following my journey.
