Hi !!😢 As some of you may know or have heard, I was diagnosed with breast cancer on March 27th. After speaking with the drs, it has been decided that a mastectomy is the best course of treatment. With Coronavirus going on , a surgery date has not been set. I may, or may not need to do chemo after. It will depend if any of my lymph nodes have been effected. The plan is to have a bilateral(both) mastectomy and reconstruction which could take several surgeries at a later date . I will continue to update any new information as I get it for those of you who would like updates or to follow my journey .. . I still like all of your texts, though .
I am devasted and terrified, not gonna lie !! I've been told that attitude is key, and my attitude hasnt been "all that" thus far. So Im doing this to hold myself accountable for being mostly positive by saying a lil everday. Any and all prayers and support are more than appreciated. It will, also, be a lifeline for me!
