Thank you for coming to our page! As you know, Lisa will be having surgery on Thursday morning, September 7th.
After a routine colonoscopy, a very small mass was discovered which turned out to be cancerous. Lisa was very lucky that the mass was discovered early. The surgery is significant but should be straightforward. The anticipated recovery is a 1-3 day(s) hospital stay and two weeks at home resting.
Thanks to all of you who have offered to help including those who have signed up for meal delivery. We will update the site as her recovery progresses and new needs are identified.
