Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. In the early morning hours of February 2, Lisa called her Mom to take her to the hospital. In great double over pain, her Mom suspected kidney stones and was not wrong; however, that was not the first words out of the ER doctor's mouth: "You have cancer." With that, Lisa, family, and friends have been on a journey that is a life opening and love deepening trip. Three months in, you are I invited to join her and thousands who look cancer in the face and choose life. While waiting - yes, the excruciating waiting - Lisa will recount the adventure of the past 3 months while dealing with the upcoming robotic surgery to remove the mass.
