Lisa Schwarz

Lisa was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Inflammatory Breast Cancer.  This is an extremely fast growing form of breast cancer.    There will be some further testing but at this point it is curable.  It will be a long year of treatments, starting with 4-6 months of Chemo, followed by a mastectomy, then 5-6 weeks of daily radiation.  After successfully completing this she will tackle reconstruction surgery.  She is undergoing her treatment at MDAnderson Cancer Center in Camden N.J.
No chemo has been scheduled as of yet.  The purpose of the site is to keep everyone informed as Lisa goes thru this journey.  We know so many of you have offered whatever support we need, which has been both wonderful and over whelming and we thank-you for that.
