Lisa was rushed to HCMC on Sunday morning (October 2) with a high fever. She was admitted and it was determined that she had a sever case of pnemonia and sepsis. On Monday she was further diagnosed with legionnaires disease. We don't know how she contacted the disease and we will probably never know.
The doctors have sedated her and a ventilator is helping her breath. There have been some complications with her kidneys but as of Monday night she was put on dialysis.
This may be a long slow road to recovery for Lisa, we aren't expecting huge milestones but we are going to revel in the small ones and know that all the milestones are just a part of the road to recovery for Lisa.
