Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

In April 2019, Lisa woke up in the middle of the night in major pain.  She was rushed to the hospital where doctors found a large tumor in her kidney and lymph nodes.   Lisa's kidney and lymph nodes were removed and she was released from the hospital.  She was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma.

In June 2019, Lisa started immunotherapy.  At this point she had complete 2 of the 4 treatments, the next one being the week of July 29th.  Lisa is having a hard time with the side effects of the immunotherapy treatment.  Because of fluid buildup in her stomach and lungs she had to have a drain tube installed in her stomach.

Right now Lisa is weak but she is a fighter and we celebrate "little victories" everyday.  There are so many of you who have sent kind cards and well wishes that sometimes it is hard for her to keep up.  She decided to set up this site so everyone can keep updated on her progress.
