An unexpected path was presented two years ago when Lisa was diagnosed with ER/PR positive breast cancer. The treatment was aggressive with a bilateral double mastectomy & chemo for 3 months. It was suspected that she was cured, however, one of those little c cells got loose and she was just diagnosed with stage 3 BC in two areas of her lymph nodes. The chemo treatment this time is much more taxing with nausea and fatigue. As she starts the first round on 2/19/19 she doesn’t know how she is going to feel, however, she needs her friends to support her through this next journey. They were there last time, which made her life much easier, so she could focus on healing. She will be doing 5 months of chemo and would love visits, games, puzzles, etc. A calendar will be set up for meals and visits next week after she figures out this first round. She can’t thank you enough for the love and support! Lisa is a strong and resilient woman who will fight this all the way! We will all rally behind her and see her through it …. “there is no force equal to the determination of a woman” … and that is our Lisa to a T!!
