Back on Father's day in 2012 Lisa was diagnosed with stage III Breast cancer. We celebrated life by continuing on a Lake Shasta house boat vacation we had planned to begin literally the next week. Surgery, chemo, radiation and reconstruction occupied our attention well into 2013., thank you all for your love and prayers. We were then surprised to find a separate colon cancer that required surgery last year. We were recently able to celebrate reaching a 5 year anniversary on the breast cancer.
Lisa is currently recovering from metastatic colon cancer in her liver and that surgery went well. We again were blessed to celebrate with her family on a Hawaii vacation just after surgery earlier this month. We are now home and are preparing for another dose of chemo starting July 10 and running for 4 months. Lisa continues to fight a winning battle fueled by her fierce love of her kids, her family, friends and faith.
