Hello everyone. Just recently Lisa had gone in to see the doctor because she was having some rib pain as well as some difficulty breathing at times. A bone marrow biopsy last Tuesday confirmed that Lisa has stage IV adenocarcinoma (non small cell lung cancer) with metastasis or involvement of other organs. For those of you that don't know much about lung cancer this is the good one to get. It is not as aggressive. The cancer is involved in the liver, lung, throat, lymph nodes and bones. Recent brain MRI revealed that there is no brain involvement :). Thank god for answering prayers. We are currently waiting on lab work that hopefully shows a certain type of tumor marker. This marker will decide the course of treatment for Lisa. Everyone please send up some prayers especially for some sort of marker. (marker is a good thing). We should know hopefully know the lab results in 5-6 days (hopefully this Friday). As all of us know Lisa is a strong, positive, amazing person that always knows how to bring laughter and light to any situation. She is a fighter and no cancer diagnoses is going to bring her down (personally witnessed) :) This is in gods hands as we all know. Please send up a million prayers. Were not ready for God to get this angel quite yet. At least not without a fight.
