It is amazing where life will take you on the journey path - for me, I never thought I would be back here on CaringBridge. But life, always changing, has brought breast cancer to our lives, and I have decided to return to a familiar path for healing and communication.
I was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer on March 3, 2016. Within days, I have had test after test to confirm the diagnoses, develop a plan, check my heart, my labs, my entire body. All to start a long plan of fighting and healing.
I know that I have a supportive community of family, friends and blue. We as a family have been so lucky to know that we have people around us that love us dearly. Thank you for that - it is what is helping to keep the faith on the start of a long road ahead.
