Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated.

Lisa has been diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) (https://bethematch.org/for-patients-and-families/learning-about-your-disease/myelodysplastic-syndromes/), a disease that impacts her body's ability to create normal blood cells. She is working with her doctors at Providence Regional Cancer Partnership (http://www.cancerpartnership.org) and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (http://www.seattlecca.org/) to receive a stem cell transplant to be able to cure her condition.

We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most. For those interested in helping, Lisa asks that you consider becoming a stem cell donor via http://bethematch.org.

Additionally, a care calendar has been set up to assist the family along this journey with meals or other needs as they arise.  Visit http://www.carecalendar.org/
for more information.  The calendar id is: 237137 and security code is 5222 **Please note food restrictions listed in journal entries, as well as care calendar.
