Those of you that know Lindsey, know that she fractured her pelvis in a horse wreck over Memorial weekend. After a couple of weeks home to recuperate from her surgery and 10 day stay at HCMC, she went in to follow up on a lump she found about mid-May. On June 27th, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer with Triple Negative Receptors. Since then, she has had surgery to remove the tumor and begin reconstruction. At the very skilled hands of Dr Krosch, the ENTIRE tumor was removed with CLEAR margins leaving Lindsey cancer free now!! Many thanks and praise to our Lord and God (and to the amazing Dr Krosch)!!! Thanks to the incredibly talented Dr Harris (her plastic surgeon) Lindsey is looking better than ever!! In fact, he calls her his “poster child”! We absolutely couldn’t be more thankful for such a skilled team in her first and successful fight of this journey!! Lindsey is now ready to take on the next bout to a complete healing and cure!! Between she and I, we will do our best to keep you posted as she swings at this thing with all her might and hits it out of the ballpark for good!!! A loved one sent a motto that is quite fitting for her: Instead of saying “Why Me?” Say “TRY ME”!!!
