Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Lindsay will be having surgery on Thursday, May 16th for the injuries that she sustained last July. She will be recovering in bed for a couple of weeks and then be non-weight bearing after that. Doug will certainly need some help keeping the household running, so that is where we come in. :) I would love for Lindsay to be able to rest and recover knowing that her family at least has dinner to eat. If we combine our efforts we can help to provide some hot home cooked meals and/or gift cards for the family to order out. If you visit the tab above "Ways to help", there is a calendar with days to provide a meal. Choose a day that you can help and "accept the task". Please leave a comment on what you are making so that they have a variety of meals. The calendar will cover the first 2 weeks of her recovery and we will re-evaluate their needs at that time. I will also have a basket available starting on Tuesday for donations of cross-word puzzles, candy, books, magazines, movies, lotion, cards, gag gifts and anything else that you would like to contribute to help Lindsay through yet another long and painful recovery.


There will be a few of us updating the page on her surgery and recovery so that everyone can stay updated while she gets her rest and Doug can focus on taking care of her. Please leave her a message if you visit the site so that she can enjoy reading all of them when she is able to. It will help to keep her spirits up.


Lindsay has been there for so many of us through our life struggles. She is an amazing, generous and caring friend and this is our chance to do something for her. Please feel free to pass along the information to the page to other friends and family because I don't have everyone's email information.
