On July 26, 2010 I was diagnosed with liver cancer.
On August 2, 2010 Bruce and I were flown to Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) in Zion, Illinois for additional tests followed by many rounds of chemotherapy and and other treatments throughout the next 4-5 years.
In 2015 I had the priviledge of being a participant in CTCA's Celebration for 5-year Survivors!!
At the present time I have been having check-up scans every 6 months. I have had no active cancer for over the past 2 years.
We have been so grateful for the faithfulness of so many who have prayed for us along this journey and who have encouraged us with notes, cards and phone calls.
Bruce and I have both placed our faith in Jesus Christ and know that He is leading us as we continue on this journey.
