Lawyer, librarian, equestrian, distributor of pearls of wisdom--how do you define my mom? She is funny and wise, determined and independent, beloved by her family and friends, and the strongest person I know. She was feeling under the weather for several months, and last week we were devastated to find out why. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
