Back in 2009, Linda learned that she had breast cancer. With her ever positive spirit, strong faith, and care from a wonderful medical care team, she overcame this obstacle and was cancer free within a year.
Over the next 6 years, Linda had a lot of exciting things happen including seeing one of her daughters get married, taking many vacations with friends and family, welcoming 2 new “furry” grandchildren (dogs), and eventually meeting her first granddaughter, Aria, in 2015.
In January 2016, Linda's breast cancer returned, and we learned that it had spread to her bones and liver. Although metastatic cancer is not curable, her doctor was optimistic that they would be able to fight this for many years with various forms of treatments. Between her amazing outlook and attitude and the great care of her doctors, she has had some more great years with her family and friends.
