We received surprising news a couple weeks ago at my appointment to discuss my bone marrow biopsy results.  The tests show that I have Acute Myleoid Leukemia.  I ask for prayers for my family.  Two songs have been going through my mind.  The first, "No more crying now, I'm going to see the King".  When my neck got cold when Carol was doing my hair yesterday afternoon (a silly thing that I always complain about) I thought, someday I won't have to be cold and wet.  Then later that evening after I'd told a few people, the song "Our God is an awesome God, who reigns from Heaven above".  The peace that He has given me as I begin a new journey is truly remarkable and I thank and praise Him for that.
