Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Linda started having trouble with her back and pain in her legs. She went to a chiropractor several times -his work on her did not help. She then went to her primary doctor,who then sent her to get an MRI. The MRI showed a mass on her spine... The pain got so great that she could not walk without a wheelchair.
She was sent to RGH by way of the emergency dept. Three days day later surgery was done to relieve pressure on her spinal cord. All the while -alone-( due to covid restrictions ) She laid flat on her back for days until she could get up to try walking; and did it,using a walker. Released from RGH on the seventh day.
.A bi-opsy showed that the mass was Lymphoma .
Went to Lipson Cancer center and met with them. Were told that she needed -6 chemo treatments -each 3 weeks apart. She is at home healing slowly. Her stitches have been taken out... legs are getting stronger every day.
