Welcome to our CaringBridge website. In June, our mom was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (also known as Myelodysplasia or Pre-Acute Leukemia.) Unfortunately MDS can not be cured through treatment; the only cure is a successful bone marrow transplant. After much consideration, our mom decided to pursue a bone marrow transplant. We feel so fortunate to have so many people that care about her that we decided to use CaringBridge to keep family and friends updated in one place on our mom's treatment and journey through a bone marrow transplant.
