On October 7, Mom started feeling bad and coughing up blood. Dad took her to the ER. They admitted her and started treating her for pneumonia. They released her to go home on the 13th with oxygen. She didnt seem to get better that week.  On the morning of the 19th dad brought her back to the ER and admitted her to The ICU. Her situation had really worsend. Her lungs had gotten so bad they figured the situation had progressed to ARDS  (Advanced Respiratory Distress Syndrome).  The Dr gave dad the prognosis that she would probably not survive and Monday they would have to take her off life support. Today is Saturday. She is still on a ventilator. The Drs are trying to get her to wake up and squeeze hands and move limbs but she is not doing that yet. Everyday is a new day. Her lungs look somewhat better and we pray for her to get better each day. It has been a slow process. Thank you all for the prayers. We will try and keep this site updated with news as it comes.
