My cancer journey started on August 9. I went for gall bladder surgery and found out I have peritoneal adenocarcinoma (lining of my abdomen). I'm on a weekly regiment of chemo: carboplatin and taxol.There are no single tumors so no radiation. My treatments are at Mercy Cancer Center in Des Moines. I have months of chemo treatments planned and surgery between the chemo treatments.
