Note about visiting Linda: our priority is to the immediate family being here with Linda every day. We request that any other visit request be texted to Wendy at 952-818-9718 so that we can manage the flow of visitors while not overwhelming Linda or her family. Thank you!
The strongest woman in the world! Beautiful, beautiful Linda!
This 16 year battle with breast cancer has had many ups and downs, but through it all Linda has been a pillar of strength and courage. Her philosophy has always been to get up every morning and live life to the fullest. She managed through so many types of chemo and fought through multiple surgeries. This past year has been especially challenging, with brain surgery in May to remove a tumor followed by multiple sessions of gamma knife radiation to kill other tumors. She recovered from brain surgery and was back to work and able to drive by summer. Also in summer, the chemo treatments started up again. This time the drugs were targeting the tumor growing in her liver.
On Sunday, Jan 15th Linda was admitted to the Fairview Hospital in Wyoming, MN. Her liver is not functioning well and she is very jaundice. She is resting most of the time, and will be moving home today, Jan 19th. She will have family by her side constantly and will get hospice care at home. Please check back here for updates and to send her messages.
If you submit stories and memories on this site, I will share them with Linda. Thank you for your prayers!
