Many of you know that I have been diagnosed with MDS, Myelodysplastic syndrome. It's been quite a journey since being diagnosed and complications with my knee along with continued care after my brain aneurysm surgery have not made it easy. I feel so very blessed to have the support of my family and friends and have appreciated all the messages, phone calls, texts and emails that have come my way. That being said, it has become a bit overwhelming reporting separately to each of you (I refuse to use group texts) with updates. Also, my emotional state fluctuates throughout each day, (this is A LOT to process) and I am not always in the best space to respond or receive well intentioned advice and encouragement. This site will allow me to journal my experience and share updates in one centralized spot. It will also allow me to connect with your love and support when the timing is right. Finally, it will provide a space to communicate what you can do to help. Thank you for coming to this site for updates and channeling your communication through it. I love you all.
