Welcome to our CaringBridge website for Linda Fangman. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your prayers, support  and words of hope and encouragement. 


As most of you know, mom is 74 going on 50. She is the most active energetic person we know.  As Brian says, "she can get up off the floor playing with boys faster than I can".  Mom was out golfing on 3/12/2020 when she had a fall.  She got up and did not want her friends to call an ambulance, but thankfully her amazing girlfriends did not listen and called anyway.   It was a good thing because she was unresponsive in the next 15 minutes.  She was taken to Ocala Regional and had a subdural hematoma causing pressure on her brain.  Emergency surgery was performed.  She spent the next 5 days in the ICU and we then had an air ambulance fly her to Denver to start rehab at Craig Hospital where Joe works.  Recovery from an injury like this is a marathon not a sprint so we will keep you updated on this site on how she is doing.
